Job Description
As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation test cases to ensure high quality in Sitecore technical delivery. You will develop high-quality assurance automation code for features, bug fixes, and hotfixes, adhering to Sitecore guidelines. You will actively demonstrate software quality assurance best practices throughout product development and maintenance, replacing manual testing with test automation. Furthermore, you will play an active role in clarifying user stories, acceptance criteria and task break down that can deliver business value within one iteration, and maintain CI & CD pipeline to ensure solution can be delivered frequently, consistently and reliably to staging and production environments.
Must have:
- 5+ years of software quality assurance experience.
- Good knowledge in test planning and management of test strategy, test plan and test cases.
- Experience in implementing test automation with scripting languages (C#, .NET, JavaScript, PowerShell)
- Experience in implementing UI automation.
- Experience in implementing Web API tests.
Good to have:
- Good knowledge in containerized application testing.
- Experience in version control systems (Git and branching strategy).
- Experience in database (SQL Server or NoSQL storages).
- Experience in DevOps and CI & CD best practices.
- Experience in using development tools (Visual Studio, VSCode, Resharper).
- Understanding in object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge in Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge in performance and load testing.
- Knowledge in security testing.
- Experience in Agile and Scrum ceremonies best practices.
- Experience in SAFe principles.

About the Role/ The Opportunity:

To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we are looking for a technically savvy Senior Software QA Engineer with a passion for creating great tests, optimizing test coverage, and contributing to high-quality release candidate builds and production deployments. In this role, you will be part of an ambitious team where constantly evolving business needs create a production environment that requires robust and scalable implementations of innovative solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as active member for designing, developing and maintaining automation test cases for ensuring high quality in Sitecore technical delivery.
- Develop high quality assurance automation code for features, bug fixes and hotfixes according to Sitecore guidelines.
- Actively demonstrate software quality assurance best practices throughout product development and maintenance.
- Actively replacing manual testing with test automation based on test principles.
- Play an active role in clarifying user stories, acceptance criteria and task break down that can deliver business value within one iteration.
- Maintain CI & CD pipeline to ensure solution can be delivered frequently, consistently and reliably to staging and production environments.
What You Need to Succeed
- At least 5 or more years of software quality assurance experience.
- Good knowledge in test planning and management of test strategy, test plan and test cases.
- Good experience in implementing test automation with scripting language: E.g., C#, .NET, JavaScript and PowerShell.
- Good experience in implementing UI automation.
- Good experience in implementing Web API tests.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
