Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Sourcing Manager to lead Source-to-Contract (S2C) activities across Direct & Indirect Categories the US region. This role is central to delivering sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier lifecycle management services in collaboration with global procurement and local market teams.

In addition to core S2C responsibilities, the role may also involve leading or supporting Design to Value (DtV) projects. These initiatives focus on cost optimizationcost breakdown analysis, and value stream methodologies to enhance product value and reduce total cost of ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

Source-to-Contract (S2C) Execution

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including strategy development, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Manage supplier relationship and performance
  • Ensure compliance with HALEON’s procurement policies, systems, and methodologies
  • Support category leads in achieving savings targets and KPIs in alignment with Finance and stakeholders
  • Resolve escalations from senior stakeholders in a timely and professional manner

Design to Value (DtV) & Cost Optimization

  • Analyze products and services to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement
  • Apply cost engineering techniques such as should-cost modeling, teardown analysis, and value stream mapping
  • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to implement feasible and impactful design changes
  • Benchmark against competitors and incorporate consumer insights into design and sourcing strategies
  • Integrate sustainability considerations into DtV initiatives

Product & Design Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Ability to align product design with strategic sourcing and cost objectives
  • Experience in translating technical product features into sourcing and value opportunities

Cost Engineering & Value Analysis

  • Expertise in cost breakdowns, including should-cost modeling and teardown analysis
  • Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Experience with value stream mapping and lean methodologies to drive efficiency

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Proven ability to work effectively with R&D, Procurement, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience facilitating workshops and ideation sessions to drive innovation and alignment

Market & Customer Insight

  • Deep understanding of customer needs and latest trends
  • Experience with market research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
  • Ability to translate customer insights into actionable design and sourcing requirements

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead DTV and sourcing projects from conception to implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deploy strategies globally, regionally, and locally

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or DTV consulting within the FMCG industry
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and relevant procurement/design tools
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with cost breakdowns and value analysis
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong stakeholder management
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCG trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape
  • Sustainability: Knowledge of sustainable sourcing and design practices
