Job Description
As a Sr Software Developer, you will be collaborating with the software architect to design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Cloud solutions. You will also be conducting technological watch and preparing technical documentation. Additionally, you will participate in support activities. The role is part of a team working on the CLARION solution, a secure analytical Cloud solution for collecting and integrating data. This involves translating data into actionable information displayed on user-friendly dashboards. The team fosters a collaborative and innovation-oriented culture.
Must have:
- BS degree in computer science with 5+ years of experience
- 4+ years experience in Python development
- Excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team
- 4+ years of Python 3 experience
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- 1+ years of Git experience
- 4+ years of Object oriented programming

Job Details
bioMérieux is a pioneering force in the medical microbiology device industry. Our cutting-edge technologies have been transforming healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
This position is part of the “R&D – Systems & Data Integrated Solutions” entity, composed of approximately 250 people, whose mission is to design, develop, and support bioMérieux’s software solutions. Specifically, this position will be working on a team of about 20 people in charge of the CLARION® solution, a secure analytical Cloud solution that collects and integrates data from various sources.CLARION® provides a comprehensive view of collected laboratory and clinical data, translating this data into actionable information visualized on easy-to-use dashboards.

As a Sr Software Developer, you will be doing the following:
- Collaborating closely with our software architect to design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Cloud solutions
- Conducting technological watch
- Preparing the required technical documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Participating in support activities
Minimum Requirements:
- BS degree in computer science with at least 5 years of experience in software development
- 4+ years experience in Python development and mastery of object-oriented programming.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Rigor, autonomy, adaptability, and organization are essential assets.
- International experience or experience in a multicultural environment would be a plus.
Required technical skills:
- 4 + years of Python 3
- 3+ years of SQL
- 1 + years of Git
- 4+ years of Object oriented programming
Preferred skills:

The estimated salary range for this role based in North America is between $100,000 – 136,500. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
