We’re looking for a Talent Manager to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside.
As a Talent Manager at Double Eleven, you’ll lead and shape the future of talent in a global, fast-paced and collaborative gaming company. Unlike similar roles elsewhere, you’ll have the opportunity to work across borders, making a meaningful impact on both our UK and Kuala Lumpur teams, while driving innovative approaches to hiring and internal talent development and mobility.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our global workforce, leading innovative recruitment, talent development and internal mobility strategies across both our UK and Kuala Lumpur teams.
As a global gaming company, we've enabled millions to conquer Minecraft Dungeons, battle in Rust Console Edition and create new adventures in Fallout 76. Recently, we collaborated with Rockstar Games to bring Red Dead Redemption to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 as well as partnered with Obsidian Entertainment on Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and 5.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead the Talent Team to set strategic priorities and ensure alignment with business goals, focusing workforce planning, succession planning and talent pipeline development
- Manage recruitment efforts across the UK and KL, partnering with senior leaders to forecast and fulfill talent needs at all levels, from early careers to senior leadership roles
- Embed and evolve our hiring and internal movement frameworks, ensuring alignment with our ‘Head, Heart, Suitcase’ principles for making strong, quality decisions about talent
- Shape and implement talent development, analysing the makeup of our teams and identifying growth opportunities to ensure we have the right skills at the right time
- Manage and oversee talent progression including how we approach promotions and succession planning
- Oversee internal talent mobility, fostering opportunities for employees to grow and develop within the organisation while ensuring a seamless internal movement process
- Use data-driven insights to inform decisions on recruitment and talent development, continuously improving practices to meet evolving business needs
- Collaborate on enhancing our Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition, ensuring we attract top talent while maintaining our reputation as an employer of choice
- Act as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, integrating these principles into all aspects of recruitment, development, and internal movement processes
- Represent Double Eleven at industry events, networking opportunities, and community initiatives to strengthen our presence and build connections that support future talent pipelines
What we’re looking for
- A strategic thinker with a proven ability to innovate and adapt talent strategies to meet evolving business needs. Expertise in developing frameworks and processes for recruitment, talent development and internal mobility
- Experience using data-driven insights to identify skills gaps, forecast talent needs and build a robust talent pipelines both internally and externally
- A people-first leader who values relationships, collaboration and communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire confidence in candidates, team members and senior stakeholders alike. A passion for fostering a culture of growth, learning and inclusivity
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, leveraging strong leadership skills to inspire and guide the Talent Team. Awareness of industry trends, best practices and networks to support external recruitment and internal talent initiatives
