Job Description
This role requires a Test & Metrology Engineer with 2+ years' experience in API test automation using Postman/Newman or JMeter. You'll design and execute automated and manual test scenarios for web UIs and REST APIs. Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and JMeter is a plus.

We are currently seeking a Test & Metrology Engineer II to support testing of our cloud-based flow cytometry data analysis platform. The role involves but is not limited to Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Performance Testing, and API Testing. The tester should have the ability to design and execute automated tests for web-based UIs, REST APIs and Performance.

We are currently seeking a Test & Metrology Engineer II to support testing of our cloud-based flow cytometry data analysis platform. The role involves but is not limited to Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Performance Testing, and API Testing. The tester should have the ability to design and execute automated tests for web-based UIs, REST APIs and Performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct software testing activities independently, including test design, test execution, report creation and re-testing addressed defects
- Collaborate with the scrum team to clarify and analyze requirements for user stories, create test plans, and author test cases
- Participate in project planning and meet commitments, while achieving team quality targets for defects and releases
- Design and execute both automated and manual test scenarios and cases using exploratory, manual, and automated approaches for web UI and REST APIs
- Attend virtual cross-site project meetings for collaboration and coordination
- Experience at creating comprehensive test plans, cases, schedules, and other QA work products, along with expertise in software QA methodologies, testing best practices, and quality metrics
- Proficient in one of these frameworks: Katalon, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- 2+ years’ experience in API test automation using at least one of these testing frameworks: Postman/Newman, JMeter
- 2+ years’ experience in performance test using JMeter or similar tools
- Experience in at least one of these programming languages: Java, Groovy and TypeScript
- Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years/ Masters or Advanced degree with 3-5 years experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experienced in automation framework development and optimization with 3+ years’ experience in UI test automation
- Experience in integrating automated tests into deployment pipeline, such as CI and Jenkins
