Assystem STUP employs 1500 engineers who provide support to clients in the transportation, urban development, decarbonised energy, and industrial and complex buildings markets. Assystem STUP’s teams have already been involved in many projects such as the construction of Dassault factories in Nagpur, preliminary studies of future EPR nuclear reactors in India, the development of the road transport networks in Mumbai, and others.

 

Job Description

  • Should have involved as a team member in completing at least one major project from concept to design approvals / commissioning
  • Knowledge of IRPWM (INDIAN RAILWAYS PERMANENT WAY MANUAL), IRS (Indian Railway Standards) and / (or) other international standards (AREMA - American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, FRA-Federal Rail Road administration, DOT – Department of Transportation, British Standards)
  • Design permanent way for railway in accordance with client requirements
  • Horizontal and vertical alignment design and reporting. Different modes (Light rail to freight) and different design stages (concept to detail)
  • Development of track alignment, profile, and associated grading plus drainage
  • Assessment of rail vehicle / infrastructure clearances
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong focus on client service
  • Ability to assemble plan sets meeting client expectations

 

Qualifications

Graduation in Civil Engineering/Railway Engineering with 15 years of professional experience in the relevant field & having at least 5 years proven experience of similar nature Study & design work as railway track Engineer.
