Job Description

The Warehouse Lead oversees all warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, scanning, loading, product allocation, and transportation. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory of components and finished goods, setting work priorities for 1-2 warehouse associates, interfacing with central warehouse and suppliers, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment (5S). The role requires excellent communication, proficiency in computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, team players, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting. The position involves managing inventory accuracy, directing daily warehouse activities, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This includes training on safety procedures and working effectively with third-party vendors.

Job Description

Job Overview
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for a variety of material functions including the accurate stocking, counting, moving and issuing of parts and supplies to warehouse and service departments.  Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and enjoy working in a fun fast paced growth environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Responsible for the performance and oversight of all functions of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, picking, scanning, loading, product allocation, transportation, and safety training.
  • Maintains all inventories, components, finished goods to ensure accuracy of the inventory.
  • Responsible for special projects and other duties as applied.
  • Set work priorities and direct day-to-day activities of 1 to 2 warehouse associates
  • Interfaces with central warehouse, suppliers and field service to ensure timely and accurate receipt and issuance of all material.
  • Responsible for maintaining a quality work environment including good housekeeping (i.e.5S).
  • Develop business relationships to ensure communication and efficient operations with third party vendors
 
Skills/Requirements 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination and assessment.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse/distribution center
  • Able to pass forklift and company vehicle certifications.
  • Hardworking and self-motivated
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
 
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 250 pounds with or without assistance. Work is primarily conducted indoors, in a non-climate-controlled environment.
