This role involves working globally with Google engineers and product managers to address online safety challenges and combat abuse and fraud at scale. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, conducting data analysis, identifying new signals to develop enforcement solutions, understanding abuse in messaging and cross-product workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build anti-abuse protections, building dashboards to track abuse levels, and creating awareness of threats to reduce abuse. The position requires expertise in data analysis, database management (SQL, Python, etc.), and ideally experience with messaging (xMS/RCS) or SIM/Phone Number fraud and abuse. Success in this role means contributing to a safer online environment for Google users.
