We are hiring a highly dedicated, self-motivated sales professional to cover the education industry territory to grow our cloud, AI, security, and collaboration product portfolio. We need to help our customers improve their cybersecurity, to get more from their data, to digitize their processes and drive innovation across the customer ecosystem to create meaningful impact on the lives of staff and students.

 

As an Account Executive Education, you'll drive this digital transformation by collaborating with clients to meet their goals and Microsoft's.  The Account Executive Education develops and oversees the execution of account plans to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met. They engage with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies. Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND strong experience in Consultative Cloud Selling.
  • Good understanding of the Education Market and relevant experience working in the Education or Public Sector or related industry, driving digital transformation, and/or relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).
  • Several years of experience in account management, sales, sales management, complex sales training, sales methodologies, presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with equally good listening skills is preferred.
  • Knowledge and sales experience of cloud offerings and solutions is preferred.

  • Customer Advocate – Develops and oversees the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.
  • Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.
  • Manages and executes plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the Microsoft sales organization for multiple accounts to ensure Microsoft targets and customer business needs are met.
  • Proactively engages and works with partners directly to drive qualified and non-qualified opportunity momentum
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
  • Deliver Sales Excellence – Leads and orchestrates extended virtual teams across our solution areas to consistently achieve growth in revenue & market share.
  • Education Industry Knowledge – Understands the education industry, its challenges and opportunities for the education customers, and the ecosystem in education. Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of customers’ industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions. Gains deeper insights and knowledge through direct engagement in their customers’ business and operations. Has and expands a relevant network in education.
