Paytm is seeking an Area Sales Manager - Deputy Manager to grow distribution and market share in Hyderabad. This role involves recruiting and managing a team of 15-20 field executives (as a Team Lead) or 4-8 Team Leaders and 50-100 field executives (as an Area Sales Manager). Responsibilities include market planning, team coaching, target setting, quality monitoring, sales audits, and extensive travel. Candidates should have 2-8 years of experience in direct sales, B2C, telecom, FMCG, fintech or device sales. The ideal candidate is a skilled leader, quick learner, and strong networker.

Preferred Domains : Candidates from Direct Sales, B2C, Telecom, FMGC, Fintech or Device sales domain will be preferred.
Experience Required : 2-8 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution/ business development.
Location - Chennai
Min Qualification – Graduation / MBA
Reporting Matrix (TL) : The role will report to the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) /Area Sales Manager(ASM) and will have 15-20 field executives as direct reports.
Reporting Matrix (ASM) : The role will report to City Head / State Head and will have 4-8 ( Team Leader ) as direct reports also will have 50-100 field executives

Job Description :
 Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR deployment and Collateral Placement.
Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasp and put into application new learned ideas and concepts.
Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
Should be able to device the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
Ensure the team members are in market where sales & usage are done regularly
Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
