Job Description

This role is an Account Manager focused on e-commerce clients at Google. Responsibilities include partnering with clients to achieve performance and brand marketing goals using Google solutions. You'll collaborate with internal and external teams, build expertise in customer goals and Google AI solutions within the e-commerce industry, and act as a trusted business partner, optimizing Google Ads for maximum results. Proactive problem-solving and excellent customer service are crucial. The role involves working with large advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions, offering a bird's-eye view of the transformation in the advertising landscape. Fluent English and Mandarin communication is required to serve Mandarin-speaking clients.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Digital advertising & performance marketing knowledge
  • Excellent communication (English & Mandarin)
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Project management & analytical skills
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of digital media & advertising ecosystem

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in digital advertising and performance marketing, and knowledge of the digital media and advertising ecosystem.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with stakeholders of all levels, including customer and agency levels.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment, navigate through ambiguity, and work with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to communicate with and serve Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and investigative skills.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Collaborate across a broad range of teams to bring the best of Google advertising products to our customers.
  • Build expertise in customer business goals, Google AI solutions and e-commerce industry dynamics.
  • Be a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions, and optimize Google Ads in order to maximize results for advertisers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers, identify, and solve client problems proactively and creatively.
