Job Description

As a Google Cloud Account Manager, you'll inspire leading companies, schools, and government agencies to utilize Google Workspace, Search, and Chrome. You'll advocate for the innovative power of these products to enhance productivity, collaboration, and mobility. Responsibilities include identifying upsell opportunities for existing Workspace customers, collaborating with reseller partners, cultivating customer satisfaction, and liaising with Marketing and Product teams. The role focuses on driving Google Workspace adoption and usage among small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). You will be responsible for providing the best solutions for innovation by meeting customers where they are at. Success requires strong communication, sales, and relationship-management skills within the IT industry, particularly within cloud sales and SaaS solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years sales/relationship management in IT
  • Cloud sales experience
  • Fluent English communication
  • Identify upsell opportunities
  • Work with reseller partners
  • Cultivate customer satisfaction
Good to have:
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Experience selling with/through resellers
  • Google Workspace or productivity tool experience
  • Translating analysis into business plans
  • SaaS experience with SMBs and mid-market
  • Managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in sales/relationship management in the IT industry.
  • Experience in cloud sales.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in executing email campaigns through marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Experience in selling with and through resellers.
  • Experience in Google Workspace or promoting productivity tools.
  • Experience in translating analysis and insights into business plans.
  • Experience in SaaS promoting to Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) and Mid-Market customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell Google Workspace products to the existing Workspace customers.
  • Work with reseller partners to generate business opportunities through the partner channel.
  • Cultivate Google Workspace usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction over the phone with customers.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product teams to improve the overall experience.
