Job Description

The Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) in Sweden will work with businesses of all sizes, developing and implementing Google Ads strategies. Responsibilities include delivering against revenue targets, building client relationships, conducting sales consultations, owning a portfolio of small businesses, understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and creating quarterly plans. The role requires fluent communication in Swedish and English and a strong understanding of online advertising. Success involves delivering outstanding customer sales experiences and achieving client business and marketing objectives, ultimately driving customer growth.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Deliver against revenue targets
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Own a portfolio of SMBs
Good to have:
  • Google Ads & online advertising familiarity
  • Google Digital Workshop certification
  • Proven ability to exceed quotas
  • Strong storytelling and narrative skills
  • Stakeholder influence (internal/external)

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English fluently to support client relationships in the region.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising, with Google Digital Workshop certification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Sweden and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly revenue and product growth targets.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and sales pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
