Job Description

As an Analytical Lead in Large Customer Sales at Google, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the growth of new and existing businesses. You'll leverage your expertise in online media, communication skills, and analytical abilities to provide Google-caliber client service, research, and market analysis. You'll anticipate decision-making processes, understand the business needs of key clients, and develop strategies to leverage Google's product offerings for their growth. You'll work closely with clients to set the vision and strategy for their advertising campaigns, reaching thousands of users. You'll provide support and consulting on client strategies in sales, marketing, and product development, translating data into actionable insights. You'll develop analytical models for key client projects, apply and customize analytical tools, and identify opportunities for business optimization. You'll collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth, conduct in-depth analyses, and develop compelling business pitches. You'll also build and manage relationships with client stakeholders across various levels.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories
Good to have:
  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc)
  • 1 year of client-facing experience, with a track record of influencing across levels
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables)

Minimum qualifications:

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000-$147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on client's/partner’s strategy in the areas of sales, marketing and/or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions and/or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own analytical modeling for key client/partner projects, apply and/or customize analytical tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and maximize the use and effectiveness of Google products.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct in-depth analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/analytical stakeholders on the client’s/partner’s side.
