The Apps Performance Specialist, Southeast Asia, will lead promotional efforts for Google's app solutions in Singapore and Pakistan. This role involves partnering with client-facing teams to understand client needs, offering app best practices, and applying technological expertise. Responsibilities include advocating new app features, assisting clients with product adoption, building strong client relationships, developing long-term marketing strategies, and using data analysis to craft compelling narratives. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, experience in the Southeast Asia/Pakistan markets, and knowledge of the app and mobile marketing ecosystem.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in digital media/sales/marketing
  • Experience with digital organizations and SEA/Pakistan markets
  • App and mobile marketing ecosystem knowledge
  • Ability to build and manage joint business plans
  • Data analysis and storytelling skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in casual gaming, eCommerce, travel, fintech
  • Knowledge of mobile user acquisition platforms
  • Experience with app migrations and upgrades

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Experience identifying and recommending ways to improve product and customer strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in or with Southeast Asia and Pakistan markets, with exposure to mobile app or mobile ads business across casual gaming, eCommerce, Travel and Fintech verticals.
  • Knowledge of app and mobile marketing ecosystem and mobile user acquisition platforms.
  • Knowledge in Casual Gaming, eCommerce, Travel and Fintech verticals, as well as in the industry issue.
  • Ability to build and manage joint business plans with key cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead promoting efforts across all Google's App solutions for opportunity accounts in Singapore and Pakistan.
  • Partner with client facing teams to scope and collect client requirements, provide guidance on app best practices, and apply technology and product knowledge to address customer's business and technology needs.
  • Advocate new app features and assist clients in the adoption of new products via upgrades and migrations to help them build long-term success.
  • Build relationships with client decision makers and their agency counterparts to build and carry out long-term marketing strategies.
  • Use data analysis, technical knowledge, and storytelling to craft compelling executive narratives that position products as solutions to critical business priorities, and participate in the analysis and research for technical issues and work with senior product management teams.
