Paytm, a leading mobile payments and financial services company in India, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for its EDC (Electronic Data Capture) retail segment. The role involves expanding distribution and market share, deploying EDC/POS machines, and selling products within the assigned operational area. The manager will also be responsible for recruiting and managing a sales team, planning market strategies, and ensuring effective communication of targets. Monitoring quality parameters and conducting audits on sales acquisitions are key responsibilities. The goal is to minimize the gap between expectations and delivery.

About the team: EDC Sales- Drive and Grow Revenue for one's portfolio of accounts in the region, throughvarious payment and merchant services. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations. 
2.Visibility & accountability through extensive EDC/POS Machine deployment and sale of the product.
3. Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market. 
4.Plan the market size, span and geographies for TLs & FSE. 
5.Devise the best methods for communicating plans/targets to the team to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap. 
6.Monitor the quality parameters as suggested by the management. 
7.Validate and conduct audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
