Job Description

Join our Philips Respironics team, as the Assistant Controller, Integrated Warehouse & Distribution (IWD) to lead financial performance management and controls, as well as manage the global Warehouses and Distribution network within the Supply Chain. This role is pivotal in driving financial transparency, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement core improvement initiatives, ensuring financial accuracy and robust internal controls.

Your role:

  • Oversee the accuracy and transparency of the profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet. Develop forward-looking insights on Integrated Warehouse & Distribution cost and full-time employee (FTE). Collaborate proactively with the business to identify and execute initiatives that enhance operational and financial performance.

  • Manage the accurate recording of warranty cost and the related warranty provision. Coordinate and manage month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Maintain and enhance internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating financial insights into actionable strategies. Influence and guide financial decision-making to support long-term business objectives. Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic business environment. Proactively seek answers, connect with stakeholders, and independently drive solutions.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on internal controls, business partnering and bring proven expertise in financial control, accounting principles, quarterly forecasting, month-end close and business analysis.

  • Your skills include the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, driving sound financial decisions. Your strong communication and collaboration skills enable you to effectively influence and lead cross-functional teams. Proficiency in PC tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP is required. Bonus skills in PowerBI, and Data Modeling.

  • You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $85,000 to $134,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
