The Advertising team is charged with building a new, best-in-class Ads organization to establish Netflix as the premiere platform for advertiser partners, and to drive advertising revenue. We are seeking a selfless, curious, and passionate individual contributor Associate to join our Ads Finance & Strategy (F&S) team. In this role you will partner cross-functionally across the organization to understand our target customer base, help develop our value proposition to be compelling to our customers, and find opportunities to grow this new business for Netflix over the long-term. You will work closely with a highly cross-functional, global team, and contribute to one of the most impactful transitions Netflix has made in a decade.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Analysis & Planning:
Support the development and evolution of the US & Canada Advertising Strategy in partnership with F&S leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Research, monitor, and evaluate competitive environments, industry dynamics, and the advertiser/agency/ad tech landscape in partnership with our Ads team and the broader Ads F&S team in order to identify market opportunities
On an ad-hoc basis, support additional strategic projects within the Ads F&S team (e.g., ads commercialization strategy, ads product strategy, etc.)
Data Modeling & Analysis:
Model and build the financial impact of proposed ads offerings or strategies in partnership with FP&A & Sales Ops. Flexibly test different assumptions and model various scenarios.
Manipulate and analyze large datasets using Excel, Google Sheets, and other data analysis or visualization tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborating with cross-functional partners across the ads organization (Operations, Product, Legal, Content, etc.) to provide connectivity on key strategic initiatives and support ad hoc analyses to define our offering, prioritize projects, and launch new initiatives.
Prepare and deliver clear, concise analysis & presentations for stakeholders in various forums.
Project Management & Execution:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight timelines.
A strong attention to detail and eye towards using the 80/20 rule to address problems.
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of experience in management consulting, go-to-market strategy, investment banking, or similar analytical roles. Knowledge of advertising, the ad tech ecosystem, and/or the ad agency ecosystem is highly preferred.
Extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis. Strong data modeling skills. Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) with the ability to clearly communicate key findings to senior stakeholders.
Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, always changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely and distill a high volume of information into key insights. Ability to prepare and deliver impactful presentations.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $240,000.
