Job Title: HR and Admin Intern

Location: Edinburgh
Duration: 3 months
Reports To: HR Manager/Admin Manager

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR and Admin Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will assist with HR processes, office administration, and employee engagement activities while developing essential professional skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Help onboard new employees by preparing documentation and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all HR files are up-to-date.
  • Assist in drafting HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and event planning.
  • Handle basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and organised workspace.
  • Support in scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain company databases and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

We expect the intern to be working from office, so this shall be an office based role. Since its an internship this will be on a part time basis where we would expect our interns to be in office 3 days a week. The role comes with an opportunity with a potential fora full-time position within 3-6 months of internship.
