We are seeking a talented individual to join our Bowring Marsh team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As an Assistant Vice President, you will contribute to a highly motivated and professional broking team, focusing on Asian placement, particularly in North Asia, to serve the Asian and international marketplace.

We will count on you to:

• To coordinate placement solutions (with a specific focus on Property Damage Business Interruption and Political Violence & Terrorism insurance) to meet client needs 
• Lead a number of territory-specific accounts, including supporting Marsh network in accessing Asia (re)insurance market capacity. Ensure business retention and growth of the wholesale portfolio 
• Coordinate with other placement hubs to execute placement requirements promptly 
• Facilitate day-to-day policy account servicing with retail offices, global placement hubs and markets 
• Ensures a comprehensive analysis of terms received from markets and that the final recommended lead terms are the best for the clients 
• To conduct regular meetings with insurers on account participation 
• Coordinate with overseas colleagues on international client / cedant meetings and market roadshows 
• Program design and syndication of placement transactions
• Placement negotiation and transaction management
• In conjunction with the broking managers, delivers the most competitive wholesale insurance products available to the practices and their clients or the global broking center by developing effective carrier strategies to maximize Marsh's broking leverage.  Delivers prompt and accurate processing of post-placement services such as signed binders, policy documentation and endorsement processing during the policy year.

What you need to have:

• Diploma/Degree in insurance or equivalent and have 3 – 5 years working experience as a Property and Casualty or Infrastructure/Construction Broker
• Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent, ANZIIF or ACII will be an advantage
• Strong service orientation with good communication & interpersonal skills, written and verbal
