As an Associate Producer, you will contribute to the daily production of co-branded assets for sponsorship campaigns featuring Disney Entertainment content. Responsibilities include overseeing productions from proposal to delivery, developing timelines, securing assets, coordinating with internal/external teams, and collaborating with ad operations. You'll work with Project Managers to incorporate client feedback and ensure a seamless client experience. Regular communication across multiple departments (legal, S&P, BA, series teams) is crucial, along with collaboration with the ad sales team. You will facilitate all phases of production for branded content campaigns across various platforms, oversee vendors, align with Project Management for scheduling, liaise with marketing teams, and streamline processes to drive revenue opportunities. You'll also handle internal approvals and maintain updates using project management software.

Disney CreativeWorks (DCW) Studio is a full-service branded content studio and creative agency with global scale, proprietary insights and data, unparalleled access to the world's most valuable IP, and a legacy of captivating clients and audiences everywhere. We are responsible for creative, strategy, and production of custom branded entertainment and sponsored content solutions across all Disney Entertainment platforms and channels - Hulu, Disney+, ABC, FX, National Geographic, Freeform, Disney Channels, and Disney Branded Television.

As an Associate Producer, you will be responsible for contributing to the daily production of turn-key co-branded assets for use in sponsorship campaigns featuring Disney Entertainment scripted, unscripted, franchise, and major content packages across multiple brands and platforms.

You will oversee assigned productions from initial proposal through to production and delivery. This includes developing production timelines, securing client or internal assets, coordinating with internal editor and GFX teams or liaising with external production vendors, and collaborating with ad operations to ensure flawless delivery. You will also work closely with DCW Project Managers to incorporate client feedback effectively and ensure a seamless client experience.

Your role will involve regular communication across multiple departments to plan execution and obtain internal approvals, including from legal, S&P, BA, and the current series teams. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the ad sales team to provide information about sellable opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all phases of production for DCW turn-key branded content campaigns to be distributed across streaming, social, digital, and linear.

  • Oversee outside vendors in executing projects.

  • Align with Project Management to create necessary calendars and production schedules for the Sales team, clients and vendors.

  • Liaise with creative marketing teams to secure internal toolkits and other assets

  • Respond efficiently to requests and look for ways to streamline processes to make turn-key custom asset production as seamless as possible, driving additional revenue opportunities

  • Facilitate the internal approval process across brand marketing, S&P, legal, etc.

  • Maintain updates and communication with the CreativeWorks teams on calendars, assets, etc. leveraging project management software (e.g. Airtable)

  • Deal directly with vendors as needed on payment schedules

  • Work closely with the creative team in the development and approval of custom content and franchises in support of DAS/client solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' related experience in a production or post production environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Excellent collaborative skills to work with multiple departments on both coasts and internationally.

  • Excellent mathematical and reasoning skills to manage multiple budgets and timelines for internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and clients.

  • Mac OS, Microsoft Office, strong knowledge of production and post-production processes and familiarity with project management software (AirTable).

Education:

Bachelors degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience


The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $80,000.00 to $129,800.00 per year and in Burbank, CA is $76,300.00 to $104,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
