Job Description

The Associate Systems Support Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day system operation support and end-to-end user support for the Facility Services systems, including Maximo Handhelds, Business Objects, and Attraction Lightboard, for users across various departments at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. The role involves administering and maintaining the IBM Maximo system, handheld application, SAP Business Object, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, creating training materials, and supporting the departmental IoT and smart solutions. The position also requires analyzing data and generating reports using tools like Maximo Dashboard and Power BI.

Must have:

Experience with IT, IoT, smart technology, and data analysis
Proficiency in IBM Maximo (preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Logical thinking, self-learning, and problem-solving abilities

Good to have:

Experience with Python/SQL/Power Automate
Knowledge of emerging IoT and smart technology trends

Job Summary:

The Associate Systems Support Specialist shall handle day-to-day system operation support and provide end-to-end user support for the Facility Services systems (such as Maximo Handhelds, Business Objects, Attraction Lightboard etc.) for users across different departments. In addition, the position shall support the departmental IoT and smart solutions in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. In general, the position shall resolve the end user problems or raise an IT incident ticket to US Technology team for the follow-up.

Job responsibilities:

Administer and maintain the IBM Maximo system, handheld application, SAP Business Object, etc.
Provide Helpdesk support to all system users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Provide document support processes, create training materials and maintain knowledge bases
Perform User Acceptance Testing before and after Maximo and related systems upgrades/updates
Analyze data and generate the system reports (e.g. Maximo Dashboard, Power BI etc.)
Support the IoT and smart/innovation technology solutions and projects

Job requirements:

Higher Diploma holder or above. Major in Information System Management or other IT/Engineering related disciplines is preferred.
1+ year of relevant experience; candidates with less experience will also be considered.
Work knowledge of IT, IoT, smart technology and data analysis is preferable.
Experience in Python/SQL/Power Automate is a plus.
Experienced in IBM Maximo would be preferable but not mandatory.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to interact with both internal and external partners.
Strong logical thinking, self-learning and problem-solving capabilities.
Eagerness to learn about emerging IoT and smart technology trends and innovations.
