CCP Games is looking for a Community Developer to work on EVE Frontier - A new project set in the EVE Universe.

As a Community Developer, you will be at the forefront of building, engaging, nurturing, and supporting our community. Your role will involve direct communication with our players through various platforms, gathering valuable feedback, being the voice of the community within our team as well as actively support & problem solve game and player issues.

The position is located in Reykjavík, Iceland but we're willing to consider remote for the right applicant.

You will:

  • Engage with the community across all social media platforms (e.g. Discord, Live Streams, Facebook, X, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, Twitch and Telegram) to generate fans and followers, build relationships and foster goodwill.
  • Collect and summarize community feedback to provide actionable insights to our engineering teams.
  • Organize and participate in community events and activities.
  • Monitor and report on community sentiment, trends, and overall success of objectives.
  • Monitor, diagnose and problem solve incoming support issues and trends and work with relevant stakeholders in the company to help create a great user support experience.
  • Be an integral part of the CCP global Community Team and assist in the community management of each of our products as required although your focus will be on EVE Frontier.

You have:

  • Experience in community building and management, particularly in Web3 and blockchain related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • A deep understanding of and interest in Web3 and blockchain technologies - you both understand and are able to contextualize and inform those concepts to new users.
  • Experience and success in communicating with Web3/blockchain communities.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize community feedback into meaningful reports.
  • Deep knowledge of community dynamics. A background in gaming is a huge plus.
  • Experience with social media campaigns and the ability to identify trends in community behavior and monitor relevant KPIs.
