Summary

The Content Sales Supervisor role, based primarily in the Madrid office, involves selling Disney's extensive content catalog to Spanish and Portuguese clients across various platforms (FreeTV, PayTV, OTT). Responsibilities include driving revenue, managing client relationships, creating sales strategies, providing customer support (technical issues, legal processes, etc.), and collaborating with internal teams (marketing, legal, etc.). The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, coupled with 7-8 years of experience in a similar sales role within the Spanish/Portuguese TV market. Additional tasks include budget participation, report generation, market presentations (MIPCOM, LA Screenings), and local product placement management.

Job Summary:

** This role is based in our Madrid office 4 days per week**

An exciting opportunity to join our Content Sales team in Madrid and represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our content catalogue. You will research client needs and identify how our wide content catalogue meets them. Achieving budget targets through effective planning, setting sales goals and delivering business to meet revenue objectives. You will generate leads and build and cultivate client relationships.

Key accountabilities:

  • Sell Disney´s content catalogue to Spanish and Portuguese clients.

  • Drive revenues across all channels and platforms in Iberia: FreeTV, PayTV, OTT players: Mediaset, TVE, SIC, RTP, AXN, Cosmopolitan, Filmin, HBOMax….

  • Drive intercompany sales with Iberia Networks (FOX).

  • Support the sales manager participating in the annual budget processes.

  • Proactive customer care. Client tailored support and point of contact for screeners, marketing materials, technical issues, legal processes, and invoices status.

  • Administrative functions: development of tailored avail lists, timely recording of deal information into the system, follow- up post sale process: contract signature and invoicing.

  • Provides franchises information updating internal reports.

  • Coordinate with marketing department for special events.

  • Create “Pitch” decks to explore new sales opportunities.

  • Support tv markets presenting new product (L.A. Screenings / Madrid Screenings) and maintain client relationship (MIPCOM)

  • Closely working with DCVI Regional and local, supervising on material deliveries, and solving dubbing issues in order to meet client’s requirements.

  • Main local contact for Product Placement business.

  • Build and promote relationships with internal and external contacts to identify new business opportunities.

Able to think strategically, capable of working independently and as part of a team, and leading a variety of initiatives/issues simultaneously

To possess the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently and meet business targets

Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7-8 years of experience in similar roles

  • Experience in sales and a customer-facing environment

  • Knowledge of TV market in Spain and Portugal

  • Sales & Customer Oriented

  • High level of English

  • Detailed Product and market Knowledge
