Job Description

As a Delivery Manager for Client Services Operations, you will manage client-facing delivery programs with enterprise clients. You will prioritize client needs, act as a primary liaison, and understand technical and business topics to have meaningful discussions with clients. You will also lead process development, provide escalation for project-related queries, and analyze internal data to improve team operations. You will contribute to the business's continual evolution. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders. You will manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • 3-6+ years' experience as a client-facing delivery manager or similar role.
  • Organized with the ability to track multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate to broad audiences about project and business topics.
  • Able to develop strong, productive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and keen sense around risk.
Good to have:
  • Professional exposure to FinTech or Investment Finance.
  • ITIL v4 Lifecycle Accreditations.

Within SS&C Eze, the Client Services team is a global organization supporting everything from client onboarding to ongoing business support. The team prides itself on collaboration and generous sharing, with a strong emphasis on the client experience. The products associated with this role are software and services related to institutional investment management (trading, order management, and accounting). We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record managing client relationships in a software environment, preferably in financial technology or a related industry. Successful candidates will be highly driven, have an excellent intuition around client business drivers and managing client personalities, and the highest standards around client experience.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Manage multiple concurrent client facing BAU delivery programs with Enterprise clients

  • Work with clients to prioritize their needs, working within constraints of a sustainable model for project delivery

  • Act as primary liaison and relationship to clients from the US project, and professional services teams

  • Learn and understand applicable technical product and business topics to hold meaningful business discussions with clients

  • Contribute to, and often lead process development with regards to how we service this client profile

  • Point of escalation for project-related queries or difficult conversations, and provide consistent peer support and guidance for other team members

  • Internal data analysis for client services teams, leveraging data to drive team operational improvement proposals

What You Will Bring:

  • 3-6+ years’ experience as a client-facing delivery manager or similar role, preferably for a software provider

  • Extremely organized, with an ability to track up to dozens of workstreams simultaneously

  • Ability to communicate to broad audiences around project, business, and technical topics to varying depth

  • Able to develop strong, productive relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally

  • Strong attention to detail, with a keen sense around risk in any form

  • Unafraid to act quickly and decisively, when called for

  • Self-starter, with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to learn

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, and at times extremely fast-paced environment during the US business day

  • Emphasis on quality, professionalism, and excellence

  • Able to see the wider picture and contribute to a continually evolving business

  • Optional: Professional exposure to FinTech, Investment Finance, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, ITIL v4 Lifecycle Accreditations
