Expert Software Architect

We’re looking to hire an Expert Software Architect for a global leader in the gaming and entertainment industry. Work alongside a high-performance technology team in a fast-paced, creative culture where innovation is encouraged.

You’ll join the Corporate Applications team to assess, streamline, and modernize internal tools and applications. This is a 6-month contract opportunity located in Irvine, CA, and is 100% remote.

Expert Software Architect Responsibilities:

• Evaluate existing application codebases in C#, JavaScript, and SQL, identifying areas for improvement.

• Address bugs and stability issues, and contribute to application support.

• Design and implement a strategic roadmap to simplify application architecture and reduce technical debt.

• Collaborate with internal teams across security, infrastructure, and identity management to ensure compliance and performance.

• Lead application maintenance and modernization efforts, including sunsetting legacy tools.

• Set direction as a senior architect and guide additional development resources.

Expert Software Architect Requirements:

• Proficiency in C#, Vue.js, TypeScript, and SQL.

• Experience with Octopus Deploy, Docker, Okta, Grafana, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Demonstrated expertise in full-stack development and architecture.

• Strong background maintaining and enhancing complex internal business applications.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to manage and mentor technical teams.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
