About the role: 
As part of our engineering team, you’ll be working with experienced developers to implement new features and improve existing ones in a live game played by thousands of people every day on Android, iOS and WebGL systems. The game relies heavily on backend services running on PHP, so a great collaboration with our backend engineers will also be part of your daily work. We are a scrum team running the typical ceremonies (reviews, retros, planning, pointing sessions and the like) with in-house producers.
The Quest: 
  • Design, implement and maintain features in a mobile and WebGL game using Unity and C#.  
  • Keep close communication with leaders and stakeholders to do estimations, plan deliveries and help the team improve an already wonderful, solid game. 
The Skills: 
  • 4+ Years of Unity Experience  
  • Experience as primary developer on complex or mission critical features 
  • Experience with development tools, debugging, and version control software 
  • Proficient with client engineering, and either familiar with backend or excited about dipping their toes in backend (SQL, PHP, Couchbase) 
  • SOLID Design Principles 
  • Strong C# Knowledge 
  • Solid understanding of MVC 
  • Experience with software design patterns 
  • Experience writing Technical Design Documents (TDDs) 
  • Experience estimating tasks and time tracking, using scrum 
  • Experience defining/meeting roadmaps and milestone goals 
  • Experience bringing games from ideation to implementation (close collaboration with Game designers, product owners and other stakeholders) 
  • Experience consuming services (REST API calls, websockets, http requests) 
  • Experience working on projects with an existing codebase 
  • Experience working on a live mobile product 
  • Experience across multiple facets of Unity3D development (Rendering, Performance Optimizations, Asset Systems) 
  • Independent, Proactive Communicator 
  • Experience using asset bundles and scriptable objects in Unity
Nice to have: 
  • Experience with Unity’s Animator Analytics driven development 
  • Experience working on casino games 
  • Experience working on Android/iOS/WebGL platforms
