Job Description

Client Management

  • Understand client’s real need and any unsaid agenda
  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients of all levels.
  • Accurately interpret client’s message and identify issues behind client comments
  • Effectively manage client’s expectations
  • Negotiates outcomes effectively with client
  • Confidently and convincingly respond on feet in professional manner
  • Set clear working system on reports, reviews, and correspondence.
  • Bring the agency’s full creative strength to bear on generating ideas that will move the client’s business ahead
  • Professionally lead presentation meetings

Brand Champion

  • Write effective brand & market analysis
  • Take initiative in creating/guarding brand essence
  • Provide strategic recommendations on brand & business issues
  • Contribute new business-building ideas
  • Expert in target insight and market segment
  • Understand the implication of research findings and apply for strategy development
  • Write effective communication plan

Campaign Leader

  • Provide sufficient background information on campaign’s objectives, directions, strategy, expectations, and timetable to the team
  • Provide insightful, well-thought out, and inspiring written creative brief/strategy on all creative jobs
  • Lead effective and inspiring creative briefing
  • Keep the team focused on the same goal
  • Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Motivate and drive the team to achieve the best work 
  • Understand, uncover, and share any relevant target’s insights to the team
  • Know and understand the “big idea”
  • Efficiently apply/extend the creative idea into the holistic contact point
  • Strategically and constructively evaluate creative work and influence recommendation decision
  • Represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work
  • Ensure the synergy of the campaign
  • Efficiently collaborate among different disciplines to work in synchronize toward the same goal and on time
  • Control the overall timetable
  • Oversee the production process from the start toward the end for the best quality of work
  • Anticipate for any problems through the process with effective solutions prepared
  • Resolve any issues professionally and efficiently
  • Fluent in agency process, including job routing and traffic procedures, to ensure quality control at all stages of the project.
  • Proficiently evaluate media plan and recommend media strategy
  • Efficiently manage client’s budget as well as proficiently build up agency’s revenue
  • Monitor campaign’s performance to share with client
  • Strictly implement the standard working process
  • Manage the pitching team and support AMD’s leading role on the pitch

Team’s revenue keeper

  • Advising management of problems and business opportunities on responsible accounts
  • Pursue 0% write off
  • Seek opportunities to build up the brand and client’s sales while generate agency’s revenue
  • Understand revenue report and projection
  • Monthly monitor on financial status for gap identification
  • Foresee & anticipate any billing and projection issues

Appraising and Coaching

  • Give clear expectation on job output & behaviors
  • Understands interests, weaknesses, strengths, and needs of subordinates
  • Evaluate and appraise subordinates

Qualifications

Have been working in Account Management and Communication discipline more than 10 years with an emphasis on creative agency environment, and/or content development for major clients. But we will also say the years of experience only matter so much. We want to see your ability to create, build upon and sustain success. If you can do that the years do not matter.

  • A strong understanding of media planning, distribution and content syndication
  • Superb experience leading creative thinking in the digital space: content, media, social and activation
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • The relatively driven and always keen to explore new routes to market
  • An ear for consumer insights—you get what makes people tick
  • Clear briefing, creative strategy with advanced consumer research tools – insight digging etc.
  • Financial spreadsheet report reading
