Job Description

The HRIS Manager will lead the digital transformation of HR systems and people data processes at Milestone. This role ensures the effective use, governance, and continuous improvement of Oracle HCM and related platforms to support global People & Culture operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing Oracle HCM Cloud, defining system guardrails, leading HR technology enhancements, establishing data governance standards, supporting workforce analytics, identifying process automation opportunities, advising stakeholders, providing training, and managing vendor relationships. The role also involves leading a geographically dispersed team of HRIS specialists.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS or HR digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and data privacy.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Oracle HCM.
  • Experience leading cross-border teams.

About the Role:

The HRIS Manager will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of HR systems and people data processes at Milestone.

 This role ensures the effective use, governance, and continuous improvement of Oracle HCM and related platforms to support global People & Culture (P&C) operations. A key focus is enabling data-driven decision-making and operational scalability through robust system design and analytics.

You will work in close partnership with P&C Operations and the Global People Operations Excellence team to ensure that digital solutions align with Milestone’s People First strategy, compliance standards, and evolving business needs. As a strategic partner to IT, HRBPs, and business leaders, the HRIS Manager plays a central role in shaping how people data and technology drive value across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

HRIS Strategy & System Ownership

  • Serve as the primary owner of Oracle HCM Cloud, overseeing configuration, upgrades, integrations, and system performance 
  • Define and maintain system guardrails, including change control, testing, and deployment protocols 
  • Lead the roadmap for HR technology enhancements in collaboration with IT and global stakeholders.

 

Data Governance & Reporting

  • Establish and enforce data governance standards for people data across Milestone 
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
  • Support workforce analytics and reporting needs through structured data models and dashboards.

 

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes using Oracle HCM and other tools.
  • Collaborate with global process owners to align system functionality with business needs 

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR, IT, and business leaders on digital HR capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR users and ensure system adoption and usability.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to HR technology and services.

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of HRIS specialists, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

 

What We Are Looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS or HR digital transformation roles, ideally with Oracle HCM.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, data privacy, and compliance in a global context.
  • Experience leading cross-border teams and managing complex system landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
