Job Description

This role involves qualifying new customer leads, primarily focusing on lead generation and qualification from events and the website. The Lead Development Representative (LDR) will identify potential customers, evaluate their needs, and distribute qualified leads to the sales organization. The position requires interacting with customers over the phone and online meetings, building relationships, and providing valuable insights. The responsibilities also include prospecting, researching, identifying new leads, setting appointments, identifying key decision-makers, engaging with the sales team, and managing the team inbox. The role offers on-the-job training and is part of a team fostering collaboration and recognizing contributions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor or Master level student
  • Fluent in English, and preferably other languages
  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred

As a Lead Development Representative (LDR), you will play a crucial role in identifying potential customers, evaluating their needs, and effectively distributing qualified leads to our sales organization.

Your main responsibility will be:

  • To secure a high-quality lead qualification of incoming leads (from events and website) and distributing these to your sales colleagues in the region
     

What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis: 

  • Prospecting, researching, and identifying new leads by using a variety of approaches.
  • While you won't have face-to-face customer interactions, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers over the phone, online meetings, building relationships and providing valuable insights.
  • Moving prospects through the top of the sales funnel by setting appointments with the sales team.
  • Identifying key decision makers within these prospects.
  • Engaging proactively with and coordinating with the sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline.
  • Capturing all relevant information in Salesforce with strong attention to detail.
  • Managing the team inbox to answer and route inquiries to the appropriate team.
     

What we imagine the ideal candidate profile to look like:

  • The ideal candidate is a Bachelor or Master level student.
  • You are an easy-going, well-spoken, and ambitious individual. You speak English fluently, plus preference for candidates who speak multiple languages.  Please state your language proficiency based on the CEFR scale.  Danish language is not a requirement.
  • Minimum 1-2 years sales experience is preferred. Sales experience can be diverse and acquired from various sources, and if you have experience with outbound phone calls it is an additional advantage.
