ABOUT THE ROLE:
The ideal candidate will bring a creative mindset and enthusiasm for shaping a strong organizational culture. You will have the opportunity to enhance and implement HR strategies that focus on talent management, employee engagement, and workforce planning to support Sports Services South America, a subsidiary of LeoVegas’ operations in Colombia.
As the HR leader in the region, this is an exciting role where we will rely on your leadership, vision, and experience to build a high-performing HR function. You will work closely with management and other key stakeholders across the business to ensure HR practices align with corporate goals and comply with Colombian labor laws, helping drive success in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and managing disciplinary actions in compliance with Colombian labor law.
- Support managers with employee relations issues, conducting investigations where necessary and recommending corrective actions.
Talent Management:
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to align hiring needs with business strategies and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
- Develop talent retention strategies that align with the company’s needs.
Performance Management:
- Drive the performance appraisal process by coaching managers and ensuring that performance feedback is consistent, timely, and aligned with organizational goals.
HR Policy Implementation:
- Ensure company HR policies are well communicated, understood, and implemented in accordance with local labor laws.
- Collaborate with the global HR team to ensure Colombian HR processes align with global standards.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure the company’s compliance with all Colombian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Work with legal counsel as necessary on labor law changes and employee relations matters.
- Manage employee records and ensure data protection and compliance with local regulations.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and partner with external and internal resources to deliver relevant learning and development programs for employees.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
- Report on HR KPIs including turnover rates, employee engagement, and satisfaction.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Comfortable communicating in English as it's our corporate language, used on an everyday basis.
- In-depth knowledge of Colombian labor laws.
- Proven experience in handling complex employee relations issues.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior management on strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft systems.
- Experience in multinational company or global HR setting.
