Job Description

This role involves conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape. The Market Researcher will develop and implement methodologies to track brand and customer experience metrics, collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define research objectives and design studies. Responsibilities include performing ad-hoc research using quantitative and qualitative techniques, liaising with external partners, analyzing and interpreting findings, and presenting actionable insights to senior management. The role also requires applying advanced statistical analysis and staying current with industry best practices in market research.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Statistics, or Sociology
  • Proven experience as a Market Researcher
  • Strong technical skills in market research methodologies
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal skills

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement research methodologies to track brand experience and customer experience metrics, ensuring our organization stays ahead of market dynamics.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify research objectives, gather requirements, and design research studies that provide actionable insights.
  • Perform ad-hoc market research projects as required, utilising various quantitative and qualitative techniques such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis.
  • Liaise with external partners and vendors to coordinate research activities and manage research projects from start to finish.
  • Analyse and interpret research findings, distilling complex data into clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Apply advanced statistical analysis techniques to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights from large and diverse datasets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in market research methodologies, and incorporate relevant techniques into our research processes.

 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Statistics, Sociology or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Market Researcher or similar role, preferably in a consumer-focused industry.
  • Strong technical skills in market research methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques, survey design, statistical analysis, and data visualisation.
  • Proficiency in using Python or similar programming languages for data collection, manipulation, and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of online gambling products, trends, and customer behaviors.
  • Familiarity with responsible gambling practices, compliance requirements, and regulations in the online gambling industry.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools, software, and data analysis platforms.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex research findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of brand experience and customer experience tracking methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Ethical and professional conduct, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
