IN-Senior Associate_ Post Harvest/ Food Processing Tech _ Agriculture Advisory

Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focus on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with. 

Responsibilities

· Marketing and branding standardization of the products identified for each cluster Product development with technical and nutritional assessment

· Planning and responsible for production operations for all products to be manufactured at the cluster level

· Managing custom and contract processing facilities for each cluster as per requirement

· Planning for packing materials along with associated stakeholders (cluster coordination)

· Liaison with all regulatory and Government officials for licenses, product issues, etc.

· Work with senior management for development of growth strategy for food business vertical.

· Any other task assigned by the Head- Research and Technology

Mandatory skill sets:

· Sound knowledge of the statutory requirements in food sector

· Knowledge of international standards and regulations

· Good knowledge of production processes and maintenance processes

· Understanding of quality control measures and standards

· Possess good inter personnel skills to liaise with the government bodies to get compliance for new products

· Sound knowledge of the market requirement and consumer pretences

Preferred skill sets:

· Have excellent capability to work on MS Office suite

· Should be energetic with excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills.

· Fluency in Hindi and English is required.

· Should be able to commute across Uttarakhand at project locations.

Years of experience

required: Minimum 7 Years of experience in an organisation operating in the area of Agriculture and rural development

Education qualification:

· Graduation in any Sciences discipline with a PG Degree in Agriculture/ Allied sector to Agriculture/ Food Technology/ Engineering/ Economics/ Management
