Our Index Portfolio Management Analysts and Specialists develop and operate models that select securities and their allocations for our indexes. We combine subject matter expertise in finance and financial data with analytical and programming skills. We develop new indexes using an ever-growing inventory of securities, data, and calculations.

What You Will Do:
Code and test Production Index models in R, SQL, Python
Apply special stress testing to ensure proper Index function
Utilize Jira and Git to manage project work
Become a subject matter authority in financial data, equity data, indexes, benchmarking, data vendors, and content providers
Write detailed documentation for new and existing data sources, indexes, and processes
Innovate in all aspects of index creation and technical infrastructure, with a focus on continuous process improvement
Clearly communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners
Uncover product and infrastructure improvement opportunities; prepare requirements and business cases
What You Will Bring:
Analytic programming experience (e.g. SQL, R, Python). Expertise in any coding language is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills
Track record of working successfully both independently and collaboratively in a team
Highly motivated with a spirit for innovation supported by intellectual curiosity and creativity
Well-organized and able to prioritize and take ownership of multiple, time-sensitive projects at once
Training or experience in financial markets. Knowledge of corporate actions and/or fixed income securities is highly desirable.
Training or experience in economics, statistics, computer programming, data science, or related fields
Experience with Index administration and/or development is preferred
