The Project Management Head is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of interior design projects, from inception through to completion. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in project management, client collaboration, and team management. The Project Management Head will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, and project goals.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges.
  • Act as the main contact for clients on-site, addressing concerns and inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Assist in establishing new vendor partnerships, fostering relationships that enhance operational efficiency and quality.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, procurement, and ensuring timely delivery and installation of materials.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Implement proactive measures to identify and address potential issues, preventing escalations and ensuring continuous operational stability.
  • Participate in project meetings, including kick-off meetings, design presentations, and progress updates.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior management on project status, budget performance, and key milestones.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Oversee the final quality assurance process, ensuring all work meets the company's quality standards before handover.
  • Lead and manage the operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Review design concepts, drawings, and material selections to ensure alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate procurement and logistics, managing vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and installation.
  • Develop and maintain an execution timeline, meticulously planning and coordinating project activities.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and handed over to clients on time.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in interior design and project management to enhance team capabilities.
  • Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.


Qualifications:

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Interior Design/Architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong design acumen and creativity, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
