International & Channel Partnerships Manager

Role Description: You’ll lead MagicSchool’s early efforts in growing our international footprint through partners, resellers, and direct deals with large institutions and ministries of education. You’ll own the strategy and execution of our first global partnerships and teach us how to scale this function for long-term success.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will drive the following outcomes:

  • Launching and managing strategic channel, reseller, and implementation partnerships across key international markets

  • Driving deals directly with large international school networks, country-level education systems, and anywhere opportunities are significant

  • Building and iterating on our go-to-market approach for international partners, including pricing, enablement, co-marketing, and support

  • Collaborating with internal teams (Product, Legal, Privacy, Support) to ensure readiness for international compliance, localization, and delivery

  • Serving as the primary relationship owner and trusted advisor to our most important international partners, from deal close through sustained impact

Qualifications/Competencies/Skills:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A track record of securing and managing large-scale education partnerships outside the U.S., either directly or through partners

  • Comfort operating with limited precedent—building playbooks where none exist, teaching internal teams what international scale looks like

  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to navigate procurement, privacy, and operational hurdles across diverse regions

  • Strategic thinker who is also hands-on—willing to lead deals personally while building a replicable model for future growth

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in international sales, partnerships, or channel development, ideally in K–12 EdTech

  • Nice to have: Familiarity with global education procurement cycles and regulatory environments (e.g., GDPR, data sovereignty)

  • Nice to have: Experience with both direct sales and partner/channel-led models

  • Nice to have: Fluency in languages beyond English, especially Spanish, Arabic, or French

  • Nice to have: Experience with implementation or onboarding of EdTech solutions in low-bandwidth or resource-constrained settings

  • Nice to have: Exposure to district-level or national-level education leaders in LATAM, MENA, Europe, or Asia-Pacific regions

Notice: Priority Deadline and Review Start Date

Please note that applications for this position will be accepted until 7/27/25 - applications received after this date will be reviewed on an intermittent basis. • Choice of employer-paid health insurance plans so that you can take care of yourself and your family. Dental and vision are also offered at very low premiums.

  • Every employee is offered generous stock options, vested over 4 years.

  • Plus a 401k match & monthly wellness stipend

Our Values:
