Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The VCA team within Japan provides a comprehensive range of consulting services and solutions to our clients in Japan, that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management and digital strategy.
What the IT Consulting Senior Manager does at Visa:
The Senior Manager will be an integral part of supporting Japan Merchants Sales & Acquiring and Cybersource team’s initiatives, responsible for managing client/key initiative engagements to ensure superior communication and delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a cross-functional program delivery that includes direct client interaction, client enhancement requests, project schedules, tracking activities and deliverables, and communicating progress of projects.
This position will report into both VCA ACQ team director and Program Director of Cybersource initiative and interact with a cross-functional teams in a Global environment. Key stakeholders include Account Relationship Managers, Sales, Product Managers, Product Development, Marketing, and Customer Service, Client Project Lead. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with leadership and management qualities that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. He or she must be a fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of complex, varied payment offerings.
This role is heavily client focused and will require a consulting approach and strong client engagement skills in order to manage key Acquirers with industry best practices.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
However, based on the client needs and project requirements, working full time on client premises temporarily or for the mid to long term may be required.
