Description

Helpshift , a Keywords Technology is searching for a Full-Stack developer (contractor for 3 months initially) who will be responsible for working on both front-end and back-end development processes to design, develop, and maintain our fully-fledged and functioning platforms with databases or servers.

Keywords is the largest technology and service provider in the video game industry, with 13,000+ passionate game developers and technology builders globally. As a leader in such a technology driven creative industry, R&D is critical to supporting our internal technology teams, our game production work for clients, and our industry.

About the role: 

• Work with the rest of the team in developing greenfield product features that get delivered to internal users as well as Customers.
• Take ownership of the product feature and be responsible for its quality.
• Write clean code with appropriate test coverage.
• Review other people's code and ensure that it is up to company standards.
• Design and develop features that are secure and scalable by design.
• Display strong work ethics. Be a team player with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.
• Keep calm and learn everyday.

About you: 

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, more than 2.5 years
• Experience developing desktop applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS and NextJS)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Java17 and above version)
• REST API, Messaging concepts and AWS 
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. Postgres, MongoDB) and UI/UX design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• An analytical mind
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field

Projects you may work on:

• Work on a strategic new (greenfield) platform to harmonise internal processes and systems for our people
• Delivering a platform for the future Keywords to enable Customers to self-service their needs and view details of their engagement with Keywords on a web portal.
