As a Junior CRM Web Developer, you'll be part of the IT CRM team, working closely with the Customer Care Business Group. Your responsibilities include analyzing and reviewing business, functional, and technical requirements, designing solutions, participating in project team meetings, and providing Tier 1 support to business users in case of critical system issues. You'll be involved in developing web-based solutions using technologies like Java, JQuery, HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, etc., ensuring code documentation and adherence to specifications and standards. This role is vital for enhancing the applications used by Customer Care and the support website.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering
  • Experience with Java, JQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP, JSON/XML
  • Experience writing SQL Queries
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • 1+ year of development or Salesforce experience preferred
Good to have:
  • Java Developer or SQL certification
  • Experience with standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, AEM, Zendesk

Description

  • Be a part of IT CRM team and work with the Customer Care Business Group to analyze and review business, functional, and technical requirements & issues, design solutions.
  • Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required
  • Provide Tier 1 support to the business users in case of Priority 1 issues with the system
  • Experience in building applications using Java, JQuery.
  • Experience in solving CSS issues and provide solutions for good UI using any CSS libraries or simple CSS.
  • Design and develop solutions primarily on the web-based on business requirements using web technologies like Java, JQuery,HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
  • Document and develop code according to specifications and standards.   
  • The CRM Web Developer will work as part of the CRM IT team to support and enhance the applications for Customer Care and the support website. 

Key Qualifications:For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering discipline.
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player with a positive “Can-do” attitude and a strong desire to learn new technologies including Salesforce, ACS, AEM, Workato, etc
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software and work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written and oral communication skills
  • Hands-on development experience in any object oriented programming languages: Java preferred
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP and JSON/XML
  • Experience with writing SQL Queries1+ year of  development or Salesforce experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service mentality
  • This position will be located in Chennai, India.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviours include:

  • Java Developer or SQL certification
  • Work experience using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Any experience in CRM platforms like Salesforce, AEM, Zendesk is appreciated

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or higher or equivalent
