Job Description & Summary
Do you enjoy working on challenging technical matters - applying and researching (non-)financial reporting standards, to solve complex reporting queries? Are you agile and keen to learn about new developments in an ever-changing world? Are you a teamplayer who likes to engage in accounting technical discussions?
Then we are looking for you!
What you will be doing
Our team is part of the firm's National (technical) Office which supports the firm's assurance practice in areas such as audit methodology, corporate (non-)financial reporting and risk management. You will interact with the assurance practice in the Netherlands as well as enjoy stimulating interactions with the broader international (worldwide) network of corporate reporting specialists of PwC.
As a reporting specialist within our corporate reporting services team in National Office you will be:
Supporting clients and colleagues in navigating complex accounting issues, both under Dutch GAAP and IFRS;
Developing tools to make significant accounting judgement and analysis easier;
Enhancing the quality of financial statements by performing pre-issuance reviews on key accounting issues;
Supporting teams on key reporting matters and during workshops in audit proposals;

You are able to identify key points for discussion quickly and see complex issues as an interesting challenge. As you gain experience you will be working more independently, yet always supported by a network of specialists who solve important problems together. You will focus and develop yourself in the area of corporate reporting specifically, but also deepen your broader financial and non-financial reporting knowledge. You will have the opportunity to build a network, both within PwC Netherlands and within the broader team of reporting specialists of PwC globally.
