Manager, IT Business Analyst

What will you work on?

The Manager, IT Business Analyst, will be report directly to the VP IT BRM. He/she is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts (BAs) and ensuring that all BA processes, frameworks, and standards are defined and effectively implemented. This role is crucial in building the BA function, establishing best practices, and working collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

How will you create impact?

• Develop and implement BA standards, processes, and frameworks that ensure consistency and quality in BA deliverables. This includes the creation of templates and appropriate documentation, that will be aligned with the PMO project framework.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, ensuring that business needs are translated into technical specifications.
• Drive the requirements-gathering process, including conducting workshops, interviews, and analyzing documentation.
• Work with the PMO to ensure alignment between business requirements and IT deliverables, including managing change requests and assessing their impacts on projects.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders and project managers to ensure business needs are met.
• Lead and manage a team of IT Business Analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to enhance their capabilities.

What are your skills and experience?
 

• Experience in business analysis with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of BA methodologies framework, with prior experience of implementing a framework within an organization
• Proven experience managing teams and implementing process improvements
• Proficient in BA tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of IT systems and processes in a corporate environment.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) would be a plus
• Experience with IT governance and compliance framework would be a plus
• Familiarity with process modeling tools and techniques would be a plus
