We're looking for a talented Modeler/ Set Dresser to join the production of “Paw Patrol Specials” based on the world-wide hit “Paw Patrol”.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Previs Supervisor or Lead (Your “Supervisor”);
  
• Using the 3D assets library to compose appealing sets, locations and stagings based on 2D designs and storyboards;
• Keeping up-to-date on location set dressing techniques and technology and proposing new tools/methodologies
• Completing script vis as requested ahead of storyboard launches;
• Evaluating boards to propose and prepare rough modeling blockouts, rough camera positions, staging and set  dressing ahead of layout department
• Applying launch notes and considerations to set dressing planning and workflow best practices
  
• Working with supervisor(s) to determine relevant location/set usage for episodes and any possible modifications that may be needed on existing assets per episode;
• Evaluating staging, general camera usage, and path of action plans to create a successful foundation to begin Previs and Set Dressing work;
• Populating Asset files with Previz Explore Geo as(when) instructed;
  
• Working with Supervisor to review notes, deadlines, revisions, and instructions regularly;
  
• Posting completed work internally and communicating progress to managers and other departments; and
  
• Maintaining strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya, Blender, or other environment creation tools.
  
• Strong understanding of topology, edge flow, and polygonal modeling techniques. 
  
• Familiarity with texturing and UV unwrapping.
  
• Knowledge of animation principles to create models that are easier to rig and animate.
  
• Work with the environment team and production designer to design and dress 3D environments or sets according to the creative vision of the project.
  
• Arrange props, furniture, and other scene elements in the digital environment to create a coherent and visually appealing composition.
  
• Ensure that the set dressing is consistent throughout the production, maintaining continuity across scenes and shots.
  
• Experience in scene composition, layout, and visual storytelling.
  
• Understanding of lighting, camera angles, and their effects on scene composition and collaborate with lighting and rendering teams to ensure the set is staged correctly for the desired mood and lighting.
  
• Ability to maintain continuity in virtual set dressing across multiple shots and sequences.
