This position is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations (GTIO) - Restaurant Network Products (RNP) team, where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald’s works. We provide best-in-class foundational technology products and services and the core focus for our team is restaurant network globally.
Reporting to the Sr. Technical Product Manager, the Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and implementing network security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.
Ideal Candidate should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on investigative techniques. As a subject matter expert in Juniper and Meraki network solutions, the candidate will be designing and deploying innovative network solutions that enhance service performance, durability, cost-effectiveness, and security. Additionally, the candidate must excel at managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts, demonstrating a proven ability to thrive in agile environments (Daily Scrums, management of Backlogs, Sprints, and User Stories, JIRA and Confluence, is preferred) while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
