The Partner Development Director will architect and oversee the alignment of strategic partner relationships with Optiv's Majors client segment. They will collaborate with sales leadership to design partner-centric programs, driving pipeline growth and securing executive buy-in. Responsibilities include leading partner engagement strategies, incorporating partner-led initiatives into account roadmaps, overseeing sales execution, representing Optiv within partner leadership forums, aligning solution delivery resources, championing Optiv's offerings, and tracking partner-influenced metrics. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a proven track record in channel sales leadership or alliance management. The role involves 30% travel.

This position will be fully remote and can be hired anywhere in the continental U.S.

The Partner Development Director will architect and oversee the alignment of our strategic partner relationships with Optiv's Majors client segment—those key accounts delivering the highest revenue and growth potential. Partnering closely with Majors sales leadership, you will design and govern large-scale, partner-centric programs that accelerate pipeline, secure executive buy-in, and deliver transformative outcomes at enterprise scale.

How you'll make an impact

  • Define and lead the partner engagement strategy for Majors clients, ensuring partner portfolios map directly to top-tier account objectives.

  • Collaborate with Majors sales teams to incorporate partner-led initiatives into account roadmaps, identifying high-impact opportunities to grow pipeline.

  • Oversee the sales execution roadmap for partner-led initiatives across a defined sales region or segment, translating Partner Director strategies into tangible business development activities.

  • Serve as the voice of Optiv within partner leadership forums—ensuring our sales execution capabilities (integration services, managed security, advisory) are fully embedded in partner go-to-market motions.

  • Partner closely with Optiv’s Client Solutions and Service Delivery teams to align solution delivery resources behind partner-driven deals, guaranteeing exceptional client outcomes.

  • Champion Optiv’s differentiated offerings to partner executive, sales, and channel leadership, ensuring they understand and advocate our value in Majors engagements.

  • Track partner-influenced pipeline and revenue metrics, leveraging CRM analytics to drive continuous improvement and strategic decisions.

  • Convey Majors client insights to partners, influencing product roadmaps and go-to-market alignment for long-term mutual success.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related required; Master's Degree preferred

  • 7-10 years in channel sales leadership, partner development, or alliance management within enterprise IT or cybersecurity

  • Proven track record leading partner sales execution and consistently exceeding pipeline and revenue goals

  • Excellent analytical skills and comfort driving decisions based on CRM and partner sales metrics

  • Exceptional executive-level communication and negotiation abilities

  • Travel Requirements - 30% travel expectation
