We're searching for a Product Manager on our Data Platform team who can help drive the team’s product vision and strategy. This Product Manager will work closely with Data Consumers across the organization to understand their technological and data needs to help build the best in class Data products for Zynga games, ensuring that Data Scientists, Analysts and various other data consumers are empowered to effectively and efficiently meet their business objectives.

For achieving these objectives your charter can include (but not limited to):

  • Developing data products such as data ingestion and foundational ETLs.
  • Implementing and improving upon data governance, observability and quality tools and frameworks.
  • Ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place to enable existing and future data usecases

Your quest will involve:

  • Establish the product vision and strategy that will help improve DSA operations across our business.
  • Develop the product roadmap and build alignment on prioritization which drives product execution.
  • Partner with a wide variety of data consumers to understand user needs and establish. success criteria with clearly measurable objectives and key results to deliver a great end-user experience.
  • Be or become an expert in enterprise data strategies and technologies including key vendors in the space, pros and cons of competing approaches, and trade-offs involved with different strategies.
  • Partner with a world-class, globally distributed team of Data Engineers to execute on product deliverables and deliver on the team’s mission.
  • Innovating on novel opportunities to unlock new data-driven insights and applications to create business value across different functions and levels.
  • Develop go-to-market and support strategies for globally distributed client teams across different studios
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product success & health.
  • Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.

To join our Guild you’ll need:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must with a Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Business.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a product management role.
  • A technical undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience in highly technical environment. Technical understanding must go from the highest abstractions down to the metal.
  • Proven experience delivering highly successful products with your fingerprints all over them - you’re extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished.
  • Experience building and launching data products and global data platforms at scale.
  • Experience with integrating vendor solutions, developing new products, and developing migration strategies with limited impact to client teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with scoping projects, collecting requirements, creating product specifications, carrying features from ideation to deployment.
  • Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies and software development life cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating across global teams in different organizations.
  • Experience with metrics-driven decision making.
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
  • A track record for high performance and team/project leadership.
  • Enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
