LAB49 is currently seeking a dynamic product leader to spearhead transformative projects in the digital banking space for our elite financial services clients. In this pivotal role, you'll drive innovation and deliver high-impact solutions in a cross-functional, agile environment. 

Key responsibilities:

    • Lead product strategy, discovery, and development for complex digital banking products
    • Provide a clear product vision and prioritize the work of the product team (product teams are 5-8 people and include UX / UI designers, Frontend developers, and Backend developers)
    • Collaborate with large cross-functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps, being responsible for the full app
    • Engage with C-level executives, presenting insights, strategies, and progress updates 
    • Cultivate strong client relationships to ensure project success and cultivate new opportunities 
    • Translate intricate digital banking products and concepts into tangible artifacts and actionable product roadmaps  
    • 3-4 days at client-site per week

Required qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in a high-growth tech company preferably in banking/finance sector, with a proven track record of launching and leading a consumer-facing mobile product (B2B or B2C) used by 10k+, ideally 100k+ customers daily
    • 3+ years of team management experience, directly overseeing Engineering and Design teams in an agile environment
    • deep understanding of UX/UI principles and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
    • Ability to take initiative, be fully in charge and drive execution
    • Proven ability to manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to successful launch, driving market differentiation and growth
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a knack for effectively managing stakeholders
    • An analytical mindset focused on user-centric design and innovation 
    • Proficiency with Gitlab/ Jira or any other agile product management software at scale
    • Proficiency with design tools – Figma/ Sketch/ Photoshop/ etc.
    • Proficiency with product analytics tools – Mixpanel/ Amplitude/ etc.
