Job Description

As a Google Program Manager for Google Cloud, you'll be pivotal in driving global adoption of Google products. Responsibilities encompass developing sales strategies, programs, and materials to empower the global sales team to generate new business and redefine productivity and collaboration. You'll act as a liaison between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Regional Activation teams, ensuring smooth execution and maximizing market impact. Key duties involve defining strategies for specific market segments, designing innovative programs showcasing Google Cloud's value, equipping the sales team with necessary resources, conducting market research, analyzing customer feedback, tracking KPIs, and optimizing strategies. This role requires strong program management skills and a deep understanding of the productivity, collaboration, and AI landscape.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 6+ years experience in program management, product marketing, or sales enablement in software/technology
  • Develop sales strategies and programs
  • Equip sales teams with resources and training
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback
  • Track KPIs and optimize strategies
Good to have:
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • SaaS and Productivity/Collaboration solutions experience
  • Global sales team experience
  • Understanding of productivity, collaboration, and AI landscape

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in program management, product marketing, or sales enablement, in the software or technology industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and Productivity and Collaboration solutions.
  • Experience working with global sales teams.
  • Understanding of the engaged landscape in the productivity, collaboration and AI space.

About the job

As a Google Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of Google Products within organizations worldwide. You will be responsible for developing sales plays, programs, strategies, and motions that empower our Global Sales team to generate new business and redefine productivity and collaboration. You will be a liaison between Product, Marketing, Sales and Regional Activation teams, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing market impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement comprehensive strategies for Google Cloud, aiming specific market segments and customer needs. This includes defining goal audiences, value propositions, messaging, and channel strategies.
  • Design and develop innovative programs that address customer challenges and showcase the unique value of Google Cloud. These plays should include clear value propositions, engaged positioning, and actionable sales enablement materials.
  • Equip the sales team with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to sell Google Cloud. This includes developing sales training materials, conducting workshops, and providing ongoing support.
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and engaged opportunities. Use these insights to inform product development and strategy.
  • Track Key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze results to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies.
