Job Description

As a Project Coordinator at Critical Mass, you will play a key role in the successful development of interactive web-based solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the creation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, while also facilitating effective communication and risk management. You will contribute to process innovation and uphold high standards of professionalism, representing Critical Mass's values both internally and externally. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a desire to learn and grow within the digital media industry. This role requires working from the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
Must have:
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to build skills in mediation, negotiation, and decision making.
  • Aptitude to learn interactive digital-based media project management.

Job Details

The Trailhead program is the start of your epic journey at Critical Mass. During your initial 12-weeks, you will embark on a custom-built learning journey to understand what we do, who we are, and how we make award-winning work with our clients. Our goal is to integrate you into the amazing work we do here at Critical Mass, and support you as part of the team to grow your career with us! 

Our Trailhead Cohort commences May 27, 2025. 

All applications are reviewed and interviewed on a rolling basis. 

The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the successful development of interactive web-based solutions, working with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure solutions are delivered on time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameters. They will assist in the development of plans, schedules and control of all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships.


You Will:

  • Assist in development, maintenance and execution of project plans throughout the life of assigned project(s)
  • Contribute to continual process and people management innovation, supporting effective delivery of solutions
  • Assist in establishing clear project parameters supporting the success of all internal and client team members 
  • Provide and promote high standards of professionalism and leadership throughout the life of projects, both within and outside the organization, appropriately representing Critical Mass’ business philosophies, protocols and standards
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirements
  • Assist in forecasting, tracking and managing project budgets, purchase orders and invoices
  • Assist in acquiring appropriate resources to meet project needs
  • Assist in planning and managing internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, mitigating and communicating project risk

You Have: 

  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office

  • Aptitude and desire to build skills in mediation, negotiation, diplomacy and decision making 
  • Aptitude and desire to learn how to manage interactive digital-based media projects 
  • Aptitude and desire to learn business and financial principles, including budget, schedule and resource management Demonstrated work ethic, integrity and professional conduct
  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Post-secondary, certification, or experience in a related field preferred
