Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of projects, including planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, and risk management. They will manage day-to-day project activities, chair project meetings, procure resources, monitor outcomes, provide status reports, and engage with stakeholders globally. They will also develop reports, documentation, and presentations, manage quality control, and ensure alignment with project goals and industry best practices. They should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
Must have:
  • University degree in related field.
  • 5+ years of project planning experience.
  • Project management certification (PMI, Prince2, Agile).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Office 365 Suite.
  • Experience with MS SharePoint, Visio, Project.
  • Ability to collaborate internationally.
  • Proficient in English (B2/C1).
Good to have:
  • Experience working across multiple time zones.
  • Experience with UN or other international organizations.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team in one of the biggest International organizations.

Tasks:

  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.
  • Chair the project management team meetings.
  • Procure and secure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and communicating across leadership.
  • Engage with external stakeholders and internal business sponsors and focal points across the Organization globally and providing them with updates.
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address the Organization’s project goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders. Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution. Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.

Qualifications

Who you are:

Mandatory:

  • First-level university degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • At least five (5) years of recent professional experience in program / project planning, management and successful delivery of complex cross functional or interdependent projects, some of which should be at the global or international level.
  • Professional qualification or foundation certification in project management methodologies such as PMI, Prince 2, Agile SCRUM.
  • Proven skills in the areas of project management, change management, building trust, planning, organizing, resourcing with careful attention to detail to continuously monitor progress actions and initiatives.
  • Ability to adapt and manage deliverables and resources in a climate of change and to think and act quickly, sometimes under pressure yet remain effective.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teams in an international, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment; separated by geographical locations and working under different time-zones.
  • Ability to promote best practices, advise on improvements, independently perform research, and apply information from a broad range of sources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, advocate, motivate, resolve conflict, and adapt relevant leadership styles to a variety of situations.
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written), problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong supervisory, organizational, management, and consultancy skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, resourceful and able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Experience with Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint…)
  • Experience with MS SharePoint, MS Visio, MS Project
  • Experience in collaborating with teams (physically or virtually) in an international and multi-cultural environment whilst producing results
  • Proven experience in writing project plans and project-related documentation.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stake holders and managing change in a federated (decentralized) organization
  • Very good communication skills in English Level B2/C1

Desirable

  • Extensive experience in working across multiple time zones without the need for face-to-face meetings.
  • Experience with UN or other international or multinational organizations.
  • Experience with professional business services such as consulting.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders, and managing change in a federated (decentralized) organization.
