Job Description
As a Publishing Manager at Voodoo in Istanbul, you'll build and maintain relationships with game studios and partners in the Turkish gaming ecosystem. Responsibilities include discovering and engaging high-potential studios, guiding them in improving game concepts and prototypes, managing communication and partnerships, and coaching studios on iterative development, focusing on game design, UX/UI, and market expectations. You will play a crucial role in product management and game publishing for Voodoo's growing portfolio of successful hybrid games. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, a passion for gaming, and fluency in English and Turkish.

Role
- You will join a small and high performing team and your main responsibilities will be:
- Building and maintaining relationships with game studios, incubators, and industry partners.
- Discovering and engaging with high-potential studios, including hidden gems and emerging young studios, to guide them in improving their game concepts and prototypes.
- Managing communication and partnerships within the Turkish gaming ecosystem, ensuring strong connections with local studios and stakeholders.
- Coaching studios in the iterative development of prototypes and product roadmaps, focusing on game design, UX/UI, and market expectations.
- Be a part of Voodoo's front line in product management and game publishing
Profile
- You hold a bachelor’s/master’s degree from a top tier Business/engineering school
- You have 2+ years experience in a fast-paced environment (Consulting, Investment Banking, Tech, Gaming, Startup)
- You are passionate about gaming and/or consumer products
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Good game balancing UX/UI sensitivity
- Great interpersonal skills and openness to feedback
- Fluency in English and Turkish
- You have a passion outside of work (art and crafts, music..)
